The feeling of never amounting to anything now became her centre. If her parents were embarassed of who she was then she should be too. Destined to never hold her chin up she was determined to not let them see what they did to her. It was the only satisfaction she got. Be hard enough so they don’t know how badly cracked you truly are. Believe and trust nobody, including herself.

To The Little Girl I Ignored:
I used to sit there for so long and listen to those that I love talk down to me like I was never going to amount to anything. A waste of life those closest to me said. A constant disappointment. It became far easier to believe those lies then to fight against the surge of ignorance bound my way. When you stop believing in yourself and what could possibly be you find yourself in a very dangerous, toxic place.
The Saddest Reality
Our house is bursting with love from all of our furbabies, our family and our friends and neighbours that happen through our doors. We are building a different reality that is based on a more positive note. We know that in numbers we can make a difference no matter the size. That in unity we will find a way to heal the World and if not we will heal each other and find sanity in a sad reality.
Your Mind is the *sshole. Not you.
Is this the meaning of life? To be complete assholes and drive others into madness so they can never become the true form that they were destined to be. Have we destroyed our inner essence to the point that all we do is breed more negativity and hate.
What’s Happening to the World?
The way we treat each other. I have experienced more bullying and more insults in my adult years then in any other time combined. This is what my child sees. This is what he is absorbing. The malicious intent of a few. Negativity breeds like wildfire and it infects our inner core.
The Beautiful Unrest of a Soul on Fire
My true frustration comes when all I am looking for is basic human compassion. With so much passing of time we almost have to rekindle, or try and rekindle what is lost. In the changing World where everybody so quickly just gives up and moves on I am hesitant to do so.
Inside of Nothing Creation is Born
That is why I do the things I do the way I do. I know the most precious gift I have is when I passed on the gift of life to my son. I finally understand what my mom meant by her saying that all she wanted from us was to live better lives than her. I never truly understood what that meant. Now I know. She wanted to make sure we had the opportunities that she didn’t.
What lays inside Fear
I guess inside my fear is motivation and desire. The motivation to change the World and the desire to see it come into fruition.
