So will I celebrate this day? No! I won’t even acknowledge it. The horrors that have built this land under the disguise of being multicultural is every Charles Manson’s dreams. To get publicly acknowledged and celebrated for the pain you caused to so many then you are able to go about your day makes you a psychopath. What does that say for the leaders of my country? When given the opportunity to make things right they do what they have always done and just throw cash. Disgusting.
Self worth. Sense of self. You know our purpose to living and where our hopes amd dreams come to fruition. Who we were meant to be when no one else is around, when their backs are turned or when we are alone in the dark in the middle of the night. All the outside variables becoming still in your mind for it is at this time you finally feel complete. Not pulled to pieces in every which way as we rise to meet the demands of the day.
I imagine my life a lot differently. It’s terrifying to walk out on the edge and stare into the abyss and wonder just what if I lived my life a little differently? What if I dared to try to live my life without conventional mainstream purpose but came to accept my place in nature and in life as I come to find?
So am I Pin-Up? Heartbreakingly I will have to now say no. Those I thought had the best intentions for the world had fallen from grace in my eyes. I used to adore and admire their positive ways but fell out of love with them for obvious reasons. When you hold the public’s eye captive for even a moment you have a responsibility to live differently.
There is so much more to the world problems and it is a constant display of their perverse entitlement when the words of enlightenment are always followed by, “as instructed by the Queen’s bench.” With the allegations of the Monarch and their blatant disregard for any being with even an ounce of melanin one can easily believe that it was she that ordered the execution of all the Indigenous here on KKKanada’s soil. You throw away your grandchild because of “mixed blood” so I will never believe that you value the life of anything that is not connected to your blood line.
UN Human Development Index for Indigenous people Canada ranks #48 yet for everybody else in Canada the index is 8. Did you know that racism amongst our Indigenous communities is the norm, not the exception with 46% living OFF the reserve having been a victim of racism or discrimination. “Initially, Canada refused to endorse the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which is an instrument established to ensure the individual and collective rights of indigenous peoples.” For a peace loving nation that prides themselves on being inclusive and multiculturalism why wouldn’t we want to protect our most valuable asset? If we are truly ashamed of what is now being brought into light why aren’t we trying to do better?
How is it individually we can see the errors of our ways but when it comes to the powers that be they just turn their heads and close their eyes and hold their breaths waiting for more of us to die. The truth is out there so let’s maim and destroy it. This is the haunting cries from all generations now it’s time we even out the score. Not with malicious intent or purposes designed to hurt. It comes from being real. It takes rising out of the dirt.
There is an interconnectedness between human beings, nature and spirit that we have spent hundreds of years trying to deny. The longer we put off the inevitable the harder it will be to fly.
